Pre & Postnatal

Pilates is one of the safest and most beneficial forms of exercise whilst pregnant as it helps to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and minimize back, pelvic and hip pain and all instructors have completed specific Pilates training for working with clients during pregnancy.

As the studio offers individualised instruction within it’s small group classes and private lessons, instructors are able to tailor workouts for the pre and post-natal client.

Strengthening the lower body will help during the process of labour whilst strengthening the upper back and arms helps to prepare the body for holding and nursing your new baby.
